Raised near the beaches in Portugal & New York. Early years were spent listening to classical composers like Debussy & Rachmaninoff . The writing began there, vocalizing poetry to classics.

The late 90's and a rock loving momma submerged her in the sounds of contemporary & soulfully charged artists. Lauryn Hill, Lou Reed, Nirvana & The Clash circulated around her, teaching through transmission the power of storytelling & singing as a means of self expression.



Musical education began at a young age with little success. Changing notations to traditional songs was not welcome in the world of classical training. Songwriting became a private outlet, confined to rehearsal rooms and notebooks. Writing lyrics, melodies and piano pieces became a beloved way to process life.

In 2012 she returned to New York from London where she had been studying Shakespeare (CSVPA/RADA + LAMDA) Shortly after returning home she received the opportunity to write a song for Allison Burnettes film "Ask Me Anything" After the placement of the song "Make it" she began the process of training, traveling and exploring her way into the world of musicianship, production and sound engineering. Gathering inspiration from diverse landscapes, spiritual traditions and global events.

Having spent 7 years absorbing knowledge and practicing with dedicated teachers in 2018 she felt ready to compile a portion of her catalogue into a piece of work. Three months living with her grandmother in the Portuguese countryside gave her the space to ultimately release uner(cov)her into the world.

The First release of uner(cov)her happened in July 2018 with a subsequent re-release in January 2020.

Most recently BK.SNW, the first song on the EP, was featured in Alison Burnetts upcoming film “Another Girl”
